  • We compete in the DELCO Swim League.
  • Varsity/JV Team practices start Tuesday, May 28
  • PreTeam practices start on Monday, June 17

Welcome To The Lawrence Park Dolphins Swim Team !

For those swim club members that are considering joining the team for the first time, we offer two different options for your children.

  1. Pre-Team program which focuses on developing the skills of children who are in the early stages of swimming to prepare them to become members of our varsity team in the future. The criteria for Pre-Team are listed under the swim team link on the Lawrence Park Swim Club website.

  2. Varsity Team program for children that are proficient swimmers who are looking to continue to build those skills in a fun competitive environment throughout the summer.

At LPST, our goal is to provide the highest quality instruction at all levels of swimming to the individuals and families of our club. The Dolphins are a team of a lot of skill and a lot of fun. We want our swimmers to enjoy each season by developing their skills through practice and competition, and have fun while doing so.

At LPST we build teamwork through participation in different team events. The team experiences activities like the  Annual Relay Carnival, Pancake Breakfast and Spirit Week, etc.   We focus on building team comradery, skill development, giving of ourselves through charitable events and most importantly, continuing our tradition of having fun and building long lasting friendships among teammates.

Lawrence Park maintains a schedule of night practices to accommodate those swimmers who are not able to attend during our scheduled morning practice times.

Our team welcomes all swimmers ranging in age from 4-18 of all levels of ability. The swim team consists of three levels of swimming: Pre-Team, Junior Varsity and Varsity. First time swimmers will be assigned by coaches to the appropriate level based on age and ability.

The Lawrence Park Swim team participates in the Delco League, which is made up of 18 teams in 3 divisions (A, B and C). This will be our thirteenth year in the "A" Division. The official League rules are the current NCAA rules, with a few exceptions tailored specifically for our league.
